Diane L. Vaccarello


Diane Vaccarello grew up in New England and attended the University of New Hampshire. She majored in Early Childhood Development and minored in Psychology. Diane graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Studies. Diane was then accepted into the Marriage and Family Therapy Graduate Program at UNH, where she earned a Master of Science degree in Family Studies: Marriage and Family Therapy. 

Prior to founding a private practice in 2004, Diane was Regional Director at a statewide non-profit family counseling agency, where she developed an outreach program and provided clinical supervision to staff. In 2014, she was appointed by Governor Maggie Hassan to the NH Board of Mental Health Practice, as the Marriage and Family Therapy Clinical Member.  After training to become a Professional Conduct Investigator she was then elected to become the Supervisor of all the Corrective Supervisors in the State of New Hampshire.  In 2016 the Board voted Diane as Chairperson of the Board, and she was re-appointment to her current term by Governor Chris Sununu.    

Diane also serves on the BeBOLD (Bedford Building Our Lives Drug Free) Board of Directors as the Mental Health Advisor.

Diane practices therapy in NH as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), License #70. She has held Clinical Fellow status in the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) for over a decade and has been a practicing clinician for over 20 years. 

Diane works with families, couples and individuals in both on-site and office based settings. Specialized areas of expertise include, emotional intelligence and executive coaching, personal development, medical family therapy, trauma, as well as experience working with Veterans and Military families. Diane is also a Level 2 trained EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapist.
