Madeline Shiel grew up near Pittsburgh, PA and graduated Summa Cum Laude at Slippery Rock University with a B.S in Psychology. She continued her studies at Slippery Rock University and graduated with a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Madeline is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in the state of New Hampshire. She has diverse clinical experience working with children, teenagers, and adults in the areas of depression, anxiety, parenting support, ADHD, life stressors, transitions, behavioral issues, and more. Madeline has completed several trainings in regards to being an LGBTQIA+ informed therapist.
Madeline is certified in MATCH-ADTC (Modular Approach to Therapy for Children with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, or Conduct Problems), and utilizes other treatment modalities such as Solution Focused, Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
