Coronavirus (COVID-19) UPDATE

We are closely following the public health situation regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. The CDC has shared that for the general public, the immediate health risk from the coronavirus is considered low, but advised everyone to prepare for significant disruptions, and to expect that the disease will spread nationwide. The health and safety of our clients and employees is our top concern, so we’re taking that guidance seriously.

Employees will need to inform BFT owners of any traveling outside of the United States, and to provide the anticipated return to work date. BFT owners will research and determine if any steps (i.e. quarantine) are needed prior to the staff member returning to work.

We encourage sick employees to remain at home and out of the office.

Disinfectant wipes; spray; hand sanitizers - gel or wipes based on availability are being made available in common areas, bathrooms and the central office.

If we learn of an employee, or client, who tests positive for COVID-19 we will inform fellow employees of this unfortunate fact, being mindful of confidentiality requirements set forth in the Americans with Disabilities Act, and HIPPA.

Based on CDC recommendations, we have created an “Infectious Disease Outbreak Response Plan” to protect our workforce while allowing for continuous operations. We are also following the “Interim Guidance for Businesses and Employers” comprehensive document to guide our decisions.
